It creates the possibility of using any element of this accumulated knowledge: whatever is needed at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ken Wilber, the creator of integral psychology, development requires both growing up and awakening.<\/p>\n<p>By growing up, he means processing past traumas and personality blockages with the tools of psychology, within a therapeutic framework. While awakening is used for spiritual opening and awareness, for which spiritual traditions provide methods. One example is meditation.<\/p>\n<p>The direction of evolution is development. You can accelerate this process individually when you embark on the path of self-knowledge and work on yourself with the help of a professional (the path of growth) and incorporate spiritual practice, such as meditation, into your life (the path of awakening).<\/p>\n<p>You are consciously moving towards Wholeness. Positive changes in your inner world generate positive waves that extend into the World. This is how you contribute to the development of the World.
